MAT 2016 guidelines for examination and registration


The Management Aptitude Test is the entrance exam for the students who want to get admission in Business Administration. The MAT is conducted from 1988 and it allows the student to join B-schools. The Ministry of Human Resource Department had announced MAT exam as a national level exam in the year 200.

MAT 2016 guidelines

The MAT scorecards of the students allow them to join in national and international Business Schools. The mode of the test is paper based and computer based. The candidate can attend the test in any one of the mode. The eligibility criteria for a candidate is they should be graduate in any field and final year students can apply.

The registration process for applying MAT is, the candidate should any of the modes. There are three modes of registration. First one is, the student should register through online at a link 14 with the credit or debit card. The payment procedure in described in the link. The second one is, the student should register at website 14 and make the payment through Net Banking.

The demand draft is obtained of Rs. 1200 in approval of AIMA, which is paid through any bank. The details of demand draft are available at the website. The third one is, the candidate can get the form with CD or MAT bulletin from AIMA, New Delhi. The admit card for MAT exam will be downloaded from the corresponding website and it is essential to attend the test. The candidate should check approval status from universities or concerned authorities.

MAT 2016 registration/ application procedure


MAT is an entrance exam which is conducted in all over India in the months February, May, September and December. It is conducted by All India Management Association. To apply for MAT 2016, students should follow the guidelines provided in the link The first step is to obtain the demand draft and details should be provided by the student while giving the consent form.

MAT 2016 Registration process

The student should have the demand draft before filling the consent form. Next step is to fill the online form. The student should take extra care while providing the details. They should recheck the details before submitting the form through online and after submission it cannot be edited. An auto generated number is provided after the successful submission of the form and the print version of consent form is available.

A candidate should save the consent form before taking print out. After the print out, a candidate should approve their signature with the seal of Business school. The additional copy of the form will be useful for future reference. The demand draft back, a candidate should fill the registration number and their college name.

The copy of the notification in hard copy and CD are provided with the consent form. A form with another copy of DD is reached to the All India Management Association. The above steps are the registration procedure for MAT 2016.
