The MAT 2016 syllabus is announced for the candidates who are appearing for MAT exam. The pattern of exam is provided below in detail. MAT is the popular national level exam. In India a large number of students appear in the MAT test to join in Management course. The exam is conducted by AIMA. The test is mainly for postgraduate courses.

MAT 2016 syllabus

The MAT exam is performed four times in a year such as February, May, September and December. The MAT exam contains a multiple choice question. There are five papers. The Mathematical skills include percentage, profit and loss, height and distance, time and work, number systems, etc. The Data Analysis and Sufficiency include Line charts, Puzzles, pie charts, bar charts, series, table charts, data sufficiency, etc.

The language comprehension includes grammar, spotting errors, unseen passage and English vocabulary, etc. The intelligence and critical reasoning includes verbal and non verbal reasoning, seating arrangements, clocks and calendars, etc. The Indian and global environment includes general knowledge, current events and general studies, etc. The MAT exam pattern is computer based and paper based. The pattern of an exam is objective type questions.

 Each section contains 40 questions. The time allotted for Language comprehension and Intelligence and critical reasoning is 30 minutes. The time for  Indian and a global environment section is 15 minutes. The time for Mathematical skills and Data analysis and sufficiency sections are 40 and 35 minutes respectively. The total number of questions is 200 and exam is conducted for 2 hours 30 minutes.

The Management Aptitude Test is the national level exam conducted for the students to get admission in post graduate. The students who wish to join MBA can attend the MAT exam. The exam is conducted in two modes such as paper based and computer based.

A candidate can choose according to their convenience. The total marks of the test is 200 and it is conducted for 2 hours 30 minutes. The score card for MAT exam enables a candidate to join in various B-schools.

The MAT 2016 Syllabus of NTSE is mainly conducted to judge the candidates power of reasoning, their ability to think and judge, to discriminate or evaluate, ability to visualize in space and spatial orientation. The MAT syllabus for NTSE is analogies, series, hidden figures, block assembly, pattern perception, coding and decoding, problem solving and classification, etc.
