MAT result December 2018: MAT is the contingent test being managed since 1988 to assist the Business school to monitor various candidates coming from different parts of the country to seek admission to MBA and other allied programmes. The government of India and Ministry of human resource development (HRD) approved MAT as a national level test.

Any business school national/international can take MAT score of the candidate for admission to the colleges. Mat to continue as an entrance test to PGDM institutes across India as per of supreme court of India on 18th February 2013. AIMA MAT at the exam is held four times in a year i.e. February, December, May, and September. Mat test is held at the national level to screen candidate to admission to MBA.

The admission will be imparted on the basis of cut-off published by the individual business school and performance in the personal interview and group discussion. AIMA is responsible for MAT examination which is a national level exam for admission of talented candidates in renowned MBA colleges.

It is one of the most important tests after CAT. Selection of the candidate is primarily dependent on the percentile and ranking of the MAT exam. MAT result 2018 will soon be announced on the website of exam conducting body, which is AIMA. Candidates are recommended to focus on further selection stages such as group discussion etc. A candidate should have good knowledge, communication skills; confidence etc. are all the main attributes of the selection process.

Procedure for checking MAT result December 2018

  • Access to the direct link present on the official site
  • Click on the link, another window will pop up enter your roll number
  • On submission, your MAT result will be displayed in front of you
  • The result will disclose the section wise result and the percentile scored by the candidate in the MAT examination
  • Go through each detail indicated on your MAT result
  • Print you admit card for the future records while taking the admission

Note-:  MAT score card will also be sent to the candidates registered address.

The total duration of the AIMA MAT exam is 150 minutes that is 2 hours 30 minutes. There are total 5 sections each comprising of 40 questions. The total number of question is 200. The sections are Data Analysis and Sufficiency, language comprehension, Mathematical skills, Intelligence and critical reasoning, Indian and Global Environment. Each question is of one (1) marks and each for incorrect answer ¼ marks is allotted.

The AIMA MAT paper is of 200 marks. There was 20 question from reading comprehension and 20 from verbal ability. The difficulty level of this section was easy to moderate. Question from this section was quite easy but bit tricky. The difficulty level of the mathematical part was easy as the questions were basic. On the other hand, while the questions from the Data analysis and sufficiency section was quite tricky. The overall difficulty level of this section was considered to be moderate. The questions from the intelligence and the critical sections were not so tuff and the difficulty can be considered to be moderate. The questions from the last section that is Indian and global environment can be classified as moderate.
